Create a Telegram Bot

Obtaining a token is as simple as contacting @BotFather , issuing the /newbot command and following the steps until you're given a new token.

Your token will look something like this:

The token authenticates your bot (not your account) on the Bot API. Each bot has a unique token which can be revoked anytime via @BotFather.

Once you have your token, adding your bot to Botie is straightforward:

Register for a Botie account
Navigate to Bots and click "New Bot"
Paste your bot token
Choose bot type: Bot or Notes
Webhook is configured automatically

That's it! Your bot is now connected and ready to receive messages.
